AFTERLIFE OF UNDERWEAR
We made our life miserable by stripping off all good values. We live in a beautiful, neon-lit emptiness. Our heart in a vacuum. Now, what do you pretend? We survive trends but products will survive us.
The flighty consistence of fashion, with its multiple, synchronic, ubiquitous trends force to stop and think about substantial things. What is really worth?
Must we have all ‘must haves’? And how about underwear? Is it something we have to change everyday, or may be there is a way to find natural germ-killing materials that let us keep it for a year or so? Lycra and nylon are hard on the environment and don’t break apart easily in sea water. Let’s get a nylon soul. (personal work based on x ray pin ups made for Eizo).
